Shipping and Handling
Golden Oak Stables ships United Parcel Service Ground; United States Postal Service Priority or First Class Mail.   We require a valid address for delivery. All orders received by midnight eastern time will be shipped no later than the next business day. Insurance is not optional and the cost is incorporated into the shipping charge.  Please let us know immediately about any shipping problems with your order. Orders that are determined by UPS or USPS to be incorrect will be assessed an additional shipping charge of $15.
Please let us know if you have any special shipping considerations.
Alaska, Hawaii and International shipping charges are calculated from 03301. Our website does not automatically calculate shipping outside the Contiguous USA. Once an order has been placed we will send a manually calculated shipping invoice for your authorization; If authorization is not received the order will not be processed.
Back Orders
It is our policy to have in stock  Breyer's complete line of horses, tack, etc. Our current fill rate is typically greater than 99.999%. We do not have backorders.
Pre-orders are treated as separate orders for the purpose of processing and shipment. Charge Cards are charged at time order is placed in order to minimize charge-backs and defaulted authorizations. All orders that contain pre-ordered items that are combined with other merchandise will ship upon the arrival of the last pre-ordered item.

  • We inspect each item before shipment.
  • We take great pride in our packaging methods. 
Inspect your shipment when it arrives. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, notify us immediately (within 24 hours) and we will issue a return authorization for the unused merchandise - Returns that are not authorized will be refused. This policy is necessary in order to protect the non-use integrity of our inventory. Orders that are rejected when delivered will be charged for all costs associated in that return including assessed redirect fees (UPS is currently $25), actual shipping charge , and any other cost that may be associated with refusal (content damage).

For returns that are authorized; we will  issue a full merchandise refund for orders that were less than $89.99; and  for orders over $89.99 that received Free shipping we will impose a 20% re-stocking charge or $11.95, whichever is greater.  Merchandise must be returned, new, unopened and in original condition immediately, but no later than two weeks after purchase (no exceptions - Christmas Merchandise no later than January 9).
